Taberna Rafaé is an old tavern dating from 1977, an emblematic place in the Jewish quarter as it was one of the few taverns that were close to the Mosque of Córdoba. A famous tavern that had his own winery, and in which «Rafael» made his own wine for the enjoyment of customers and tourists who visited the city. Said winery was under said tavern, which is currently enabled, and where, in addition to our artisanal wine, typical dishes of the city were offered, making it the tavern in the Mosque of Córdoba par excellence.
Nowadays, this tavern has been renovated and adapted for the enjoyment of diners. This tavern was restored maintaining the essence of that 1977 tavern with the same arches, shapes and structure, but with a traditional and modern approach. Our tavern is specially decorated so that visitors to our city can feel the authentic essence of our city, and in which they can see the tradition, and the history of Córdoba and our tavern on our walls.
Our winery was restored and is currently available as a spacious room with capacity for more than 50 people and in which company meetings, menus for visits in Córdoba and other celebrations are held. In addition to this room we have a main room that houses a place for the enjoyment of our guests.

Behind our stoves there is specialized staff, who do a great job in the kitchen, to make the best dishes for the enjoyment of our guests. This team has achieved that our tavern is awarded on many occasions with prizes and recognized nationally. Some of the prizes thanks to our typical dishes such as:
